Wednesday we will continue to research our spirit animal images. Students are encouraged to find a coloring book drawing of their animal. These drawings are usually good contour drawings to get the main features of the animal without color or value.
Students will trace their printed images onto background construction paper using light tables.
6th grade students will take a pre-test about Inuit Culture. Students will be researching Inuit culture using I Pads. Students will work collaboratively with their peers to answer the questions on their hand out.
Friday students will begin choosing a spirit animal to use for a cut paper totem project. Students will research their animal using the I Pads to create a rough sketch of the front view and face of their animal.
