Students will continue to create their Identity photo stories. They will add any information that they gathered on Ancestryclassroom.com, images, etc. to their Student ID folder. They will create a Title page and a Credits page using the Pixlr.com editor.
Students will finish assembling their Chihuly sculptures. We will have an assessment on Color and Chihuly on Tuesday. We will begin a Photo Story project on Wednesday using self identity and cultural heritage. Students will need to get some information about family to use the Ancestry.com app for students.
Students will continue to paint and manipulate their pieces for their Chihuly sculptures. We will assemble our sculptures on Wednesday and Thursday. We will have an assessment on Color and Assemblage sculpture on Friday.
Monday students will take their sculpture and coil pot assessment. We will learn about artist Dale Chihuly and the art of glass blowing. We will discuss organic and geometric shapes. Wednesday we will design our Chihuly sculptures. We will begin painting on recyclables Thursday and cutting them on Friday.
