Monday students will finish their value scales around their Zentangle designs.
Tuesday students will work on a the "Quest for H20" web quest.
Wednesday (no 6th period) 7th period class will finish their web quests.
Thursday students will learn about artist George Seurat and answer questions on the back of Scholastic Art Magazine.
Friday students will answer questions about portrait artists in the magazine.
Monday students will continue to trace their Zentangles with sharpies. Students will be adding a variety of line weights to their designs.
Tuesday students will continue to add a variety of line weights to their designs.
Wednesday students will begin creating the first 4 tints of a color for the background of their art work. The lightest tint should be painted around the petals of the design.
Thursday students will create 4 more steps until the true color is painted around the top edge of their paper.
Friday students will complete their rubric/self assessment and glue their rubric to the back of their art work to turn in.
Monday: Students will finish drawing their folder designs and begin adding the elements of color and value.
Tuesday: Students will learn about the principle of pattern. Students will create 6 different pattern designs using the elements of line and shape.
Wednesday: Students will begin a Zentangle Radial Design project. They will begin creating a semi-circle and flower petal shapes on drawing paper.
Thursday: Students will create pattern designs using line and shape to create Zentangle designs in each petal.
Friday: Students will divide the semi-circle into at least 4 sections and create different pattern designs in each one.
