Students will put the finishing touches on their color wheels. We will have an assessment on color. We will begin learning about embossing and repousse. We will view masks from around the world to get inspiration to create masks of our own. Students will sketch out a mask design as a blue print for their repousse mask.
Students will be finishing up their intermediate colors and creating a template to create their Unique Color Wheel. Students will place their template in each rectangle they have painted. They will trace the template. They will cut out the templates and arrange them on black construction paper and glue down.
Students will finish up their Abstract Color Wheels using Pixlr on Tuesday. Wednesday we will start a Unique Color Wheel design. Students will be using primary colors to mix secondary and intermediate colors for their designs.
Students will be learning about color theory this week. A color wheel hand out will be completed. Students will work in the computer lab creating Abstract Color Wheels using the computer app Pixlr.
