Students learned about the principle of balance. We are focusing on asymmetrical balance for our Non-Traditional Mandalas project. Three thumbnail sketches were to be completed in their sketchbooks using different weights of line. They also needed to add value to their designs using hatching, cross-hatching and stippling.
