Students will finish up their rough sketches on Monday.
Tuesday is the awards ceremony.
Wednesday through Friday students will work on their final drawing for the Architectural or Book Illustration project.
Students will begin research for a Book Illustration project or Architectural Illustration project. They will need to follow their hand out to complete the research portion of the assignment.
Wednesday students will begin their rough sketches of their book cover or architectural illustration.
Thursday rough sketches should be complete.
Friday students will begin final drawings.
Students will continue to work on their paper about the illustration career they have chosen. Students will use the Writing Across the Curriculum rubric to make sure they include what is needed for their paper.
Students will take a pre-test to assess their knowledge of art careers. After, students will research illustration careers using the I Pad. Students will work collaboratively with their peers to answer the questions on their hand out.
Friday, students will choose one of the illustration careers to research. They will use the I Pad to find information about what it takes to become successful in that field. Students will write at least 3-5 paragraphs explaining the education requirements, experience, skills, etc. required for that career.
