Students will begin a Digital Roy Lichtenstein project when they complete their Warhol pieces.
Monday students will take selfies with their devices or I Pads. They will research at least 3 images of Roy Lichtenstein's work and save it to their student ID folders.
Tuesday students will upload their selfies to their computers and begin editing and drawing following the step by step instructions on their hand out. I will model the steps in class.
Wed-Friday students will continue to edit their images and insert them as layers into the saved Roy Lichtenstein image of their choice. They will be using Pixlr. com photo editor.
Monday through Friday students will continue to create their Digital Warhol work of art using Pixlr.com photo editor. Students should be starting their second quadrant Monday.
Third quadrant should be complete by Wednesday.
Fourth quadrant should be finished by Thursday.
Friday students should be creating a new image and bringing in each quadrant as a layer to complete the assignment.
Monday students will learn about Pop Art artists: Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Robert Indiana.
Tuesday students will begin a digital Warhol project using technology. Students will be searching for images of objects, animals or celebrities. The image should be well defined and clear. Students will save their images to their student ID folder.
Wednesday-Friday students will begin following the step by step instructions on their hand outs. I will model each step for the class.
