Students will continue to develop their artwork for the reflections contest. They will visualize the phrase, "Let your imagination fly".
Students will start to glue random shapes, sizes and colored papers in to the first 7 pages of their sketchbooks. They will cover the entire surface, front and back of their pages. The paper should be assembled like a puzzle on each page.
Students will begin brainstorming ideas for the Reflections contest theme, "Let Your Imagination Fly".
I was able to get old books from the library if students were unable to get books over the weekend. We will be distressing, painting, glueing, cutting and re-designing our book covers. These books will be student sketchbooks for the Semester.
Welcome back to Tapp! We are going to have an awesome Semester! This week we are going over classroom rules, procedures and expectations. Students will be given a folder for their artwork. The folder should include a design that covers the front surface of the folder. We will be making a deconstructed sketchbook. Students can obtain a book with large surface area at the Dollar Store or see me for a book. These books are going to be destroyed, so they don't need to be new. No paperbacks please! Most of these books are too small. Please check the syllabus for updated materials for class.
