Monday students will begin brainstorming ideas for a Seasonal Greeting Card project. Students will create a list of at least 6 winter symbols and 2 symbols for Barber Braves. When finished, students will continue to work on their Google Doodles which are due Wednesday.
Tuesday students will problem solve to create a design using their symbols on their brainstorming lists. They must creatively incorporate the Barber Braves in their artwork.
Wednesday students will continue to sketch their designs.
Thursday students should begin final drawings, lightly, with pencil.
Friday students may use watercolors and colored pencils to add the elements of value and color to their designs.
Monday students will be challenged to look at how they will make a difference in creating a world of tomorrow. They will think about cities of the future and write a short story to describe what they would be like.
Tuesday and Wednesday students will share their vision for the future by creating a Google Doodle.
Thursday and Friday students will complete their final Google Doodle on the entry form for the Google Doodle contest.
Monday students will be learning about the artist Frank Gehry. Students will complete a hand out "Working with Form".
Wednesday students will continue to work on their piñatas and the "Peanut Butter Lover's Month" drawing.
Thursday students will finish piñatas and the "Peanut Butter Lover's Month" drawing.
Friday students will have a speaker, Diane Quamman, who is a potter. She will be throwing on the wheel.
