Students will be finishing up their Immigration Travel Brochures using Microsoft Publisher this week.
Monday students will discuss travel brochures and what information is used to attract travelers to their country. Students will think about a country they would like to live in and start to research immigration requirements to live in that country. All student information will be saved to their student ID number on a Word Document. A hand out will be given as an instructional guide for this project.
Tuesday and Wednesday students will continue to research information about the country of their choice. Pictures of landmarks and tourist attractions must be included. All images should be saved to the student ID number as a jpeg.
Thursday and Friday students will begin using Microsoft Publisher to create a tri-fold brochure to attract immigrants to their country. Students should use their hand outs for the step by step process using Publisher.
Monday students will finish drawing their designs on their cards.
Tuesday students will begin adding the elements of color and value with watercolor paints and colored pencils. Students will decide how they are going to show the principle of emphasis in their card design.
Wednesday and Thursdsay students will continue to work on adding color, value and emphasis to their design.
Friday we will talk about seasonal greeting card messages. Students will add a messages to the inside of the card.
